Our Mission & Vision

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Algonquin Lake in the Hills Interfaith Food Pantry is to provide TEMPORARY immediate access to food for families in need living within the boundaries of Algonquin and Lake in the Hills. We accomplish this with a dynamic group of volunteers who staff the pantry, organize food drives and work with member churches and other volunteer organizations within the community to help ensure a family’s food supply is adequate during a time of need.

OUR VISION

The Algonquin Lake in the Hills Interfaith Food Pantry was established to:

Foster community awareness and support of our neighbors in need. Offer clients immediate access to basic food during DIFFICULT times. Promote awareness of other need related resources for clients to access, and better their situation.
